3. For what purposes and on what legal basis do we process it?

Operating and securing this website

We use this data only to keep the website secure and running smoothly: to deliver the pages you request, to keep the service stable, and to protect it against attacks. As part of this protection, we automatically detect requests that show patterns typical of attacks and may temporarily block the IP addresses they come from. The data is transmitted automatically by your browser and is technically necessary to display the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a stable, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Responding to your enquiries

We use the data you send us solely to receive and answer your request. Providing it is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where your request relates to a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

4. Does this website use cookies or tracking?

No. This website uses no cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking, or embedded third-party content such as external fonts, maps, or videos. As it stores or accesses no information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the page you requested, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) is required, and no cookie or consent banner is displayed.

5. Who receives your data, and is it transferred outside the EU?

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany. Our servers are located in Germany; Hetzner provides the infrastructure and acts as a processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Apart from this hosting provider, we do not share your personal data with any third parties, and we do not sell personal data; we disclose it only where we are legally required to do so.

Your personal data is processed exclusively within the EU/EEA. We do not transfer it to countries outside the EU/EEA.

6. How long do we store your data?

• Server log files: for no longer than 7 days, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
• Blocked IP addresses: if an IP address is temporarily blocked for showing attack-typical patterns, it is stored only for the duration of the block and for no longer than 30 days.
• Email correspondence: for as long as needed to handle your request; where it becomes subject to statutory retention obligations (e.g. § 257 HGB, § 147 AO), for up to six or ten years respectively, after which it is deleted.

7. What are your rights?

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data and to have it rectified or erased, the right to restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where we process data on the basis of your consent or a contract by automated means, you also have the right to data portability. These rights follow from Art. 15 to 21 GDPR. 8. How can you object to our processing?

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to that processing. If you object, we will stop processing the affected data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. 9. Do we use automated decision-making or AI?

No. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, and we do not process your personal data using artificial intelligence on this website.

10. Where can you complain?

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the EU member state of your residence or workplace.
